So my seminary teacher asked us that question a couple days ago and it's had me thinking ever since. i'm just curious as to what your guys' answer is. =) and you can't say both. just choose one.
Intriguing question. I believe that it is mostly a choice. When you love God you choose to serve. I believe that attraction is powerful, and when combined with Love become something to be reckoned with, but I know many people who I love that I am not attracted to in anyway. My brothers also talk about loving the people on their missions. This has to be a choice because they haven't even met all the people. I don't know if you can entirely seperate the feeling from it though. Because there is definitely a feeling of love, but perhaps, that feeling comes from making the choice to be closer to God.
